Temporal data is a problem space which has received varying amounts of attention for many years.

But its time has come.

TemporalData.com was designed to help further adoption of temporal data concepts, technology, and products; and to be a resource for designers and users of temporal data.

The addition of temporal features into standard SQL has been approved by ISO but they are not yet published. DBMS vendors are integrating these or similar temporal features into their DBMS engines. TemporalData.com is focused on these temporal features, especially their support for bitemporal data.

The objective of this site is to help further the state of the art of temporal data management and adoption of temporal extensions to SQL.
